Sona Masoori Rice

Sona Masoori Rice is a part of rice varieties of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, as it is grown mainly these two states, and moderately in Karnataka. Also known as Samba Masuri and Jeela Karra Masuri, this rice is light in weight and aromatic. This medium-grain rice is highly demanded in Middle East, USA, Canada, Malaysia and other countries. This popular rice variety has low starch content, and is mainly used for preparing sweet Pongal, bhath, idli and fried rice. The white variant of Sona Masoori raw rice is supplied by us. Unlike other white rice varieties, it is not polished. This rice has higher nutritional value as it contains less carbohydrate content.
